Fatma Alremeithi is an Emirati artist based in Dubai and a Senior Visual Arts student at the College of Arts and Creative Enterprises at Zayed University (Dubai campus). Her interest in art began in childhood, with a particular focus on graphite drawing, and this early connection continues to shape her practice today.

Her work spans drawing, photography, and mixed media, and explores Emirati culture through a personal lens, reflecting on myths, rituals, and memories that shape collective identity. Rooted in nostalgia and observation, her practice approaches its subjects with sensitivity and curiosity.

Her work has been presented in exhibitions such as the Al Marmoom Film Festival (Dubai, 2025), as well as on augmented reality platforms, and through local collaborations, including Colo Cafe (Dubai, 2025).

Fatma aims to preserve UAE culture and collective memory by exploring fleeting moments of daily life, capturing the mundane and often overlooked. She is currently working on her senior project, The Animal Names We Carry, which explores animal-based names used in the UAE through a large-scale drawing and a ceramic piece that translates oral history into visual form.
